We are a group of German and French design students from the Fachhochschule Potsdam and E'cole des beaux-arts Toulouse working on a project called "Ideal Standard".
Our focus is on everyday products that determine our lives without being noticed.

But if you look at these products from a different point of view, it's easy to discover aspects about them you have never seen before.

Although we might realize that we depend on these products, they are often simply ignored. Why? Do these products represent an ideal reality apart from ideal image?
